Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Rýchory crystalline, Proterozoic up to Palaeozoic. Abandoned quarry with outcrops of chloritic-sericitic phyllites with chloritoid, forming lenticular body in vicinity of carbonatic and chloritic greenschists. Dark rock colour is caused by presence of chlorite, chloritoid, leucoxenized titanite and rutile needles. Admixture of volcanic material from nearby basites is probable.
